30/10/11 - Skipton Gallery Cafe will reopen on 11/11/11 at 5pm

23/01/11 - Skipton Gallery is to be rebuilt - Council is working on flooding issues and it is extremely doubtful that this kind of flash flooding could ever occur again

14/01/11 - Skipton Gallery is gone - destroyed in the flooding - news to follow.

13/01/11 - Skipton Gallery is surrounded by sandbags and has pumps set up - threats of flooding again but a huge thank you to all the kind folk who helped sandbag

21/12/10 - Skipton Gallery mourns the loss of well-loved and talented artist Cherry Pattenden.  Cherry passed away today after a short illness.  A loss to all of us.

11/12/10 - Gallery reopens with work by CastertonArtists Group, Ena Graham, Margaret Wright, Sally Ford and Dan Lynch

05/09/10 - Gallery flooded - artwork saved!

21/08/10 - Exhibition by well known Beaufort artist Lyn Heenan opens at 3pm so come along and chat with Lyn

14/08/10 - Skipton Gallery will be closed all weekend but a preview of Lyn Heenan's work will be exhibited at "Fabrication" in Beaufort.

24/04/10 - 12 month anniversay of Skipton Gallery opens with an exhibition of the works of Juli Davine

31/03/10 - DVDs of Mooramong Property now on sale at the Gallery - Skipton Photographic Show 2010 forms available here

13/03/10 - Beaufort contemporary  Ros Kuhlmann's exhibition runs until April 24th

08/03/10 - Ena Graham will be demonstrating Botanical Art from 1pm until 4pm - free entry

06/02/10 - Botanical artist Ena Graham begins her exhibtition with a demonstration of her artworks

02/01/10 - Emerging Artist Fiona Fisher's exhibition is open until 6th February 2010

28/11/09 - Joel Magpayo & Do Noble opened their exhibition with the toss of two-up coins

31/10/09 - Exhibition by Sally Ford & Yolanda Caporn runs until 28th November

23/09/09 - Wine & Cheese Fundraiser for Skipton Primary school brought in a great crowd.

22/08/09 - Preparing for Margaret Torney's "Art for All" exhibition - 19th Sept to 30th Oct 2009

20/07/09 - Currently exhibiting more than 200 photographic works by 14 regional artists

11/07/09 - 6:30pm - 8:30pm - Photographic Exhibition launch

06/07/09 - Gallery Closed today - apologies for any inconvenience

13/06/09 - Indigenous Art Exhibition opens and will run until July 10th

01/06/09 - New works starting to arrive for the 13th June Exhibition

08/05/09 - All settled down now with the gallery opening 4 days a week.

25/04/09 - Great launch with nearly 200 people attending.

24/04/09 - Pyrenees Advocate running a feature on the Gallery Launch

22/04/09 - Dominic Brine of the ABC Radio interviews Gallery Director for feature on radio.

21/04/09 - Mayor Ruth Gstrein agrees to officially open Gallery

14/04/09 - Julie Kent and Molly Galpin - feature artists at Launch

30/03/09 - Latest artists added - Ros Kuhlmann and Christine Ward.

20/03/09 - Opening Date - 25th April 2009 - 6pm doors open with official opening at 7pm

15/03/09 - The plasterer has finished the job and now only painting and laying floors to go.

27/01/09 - The plasterer is here and working hard in the dreadful heat.

03/01/09 - 3 galleries completed but the plastering is still a huge issue - hopefully the news will be better soon.

01/01/09 - Due to lack of a plasterer the opening will be slightly delayed - news on this as it comes to hand.

25/12/08 - Final council permits have been issued and the last of the renovations from grocery to gallery are underway.  Hoping that all goes to plan and opening dates will be posted soon.
